Welcome to our Online Blues Magazine!
Founded as a Blues Magazine in 2009 that covers America’s Roots music of Blues. We travel from the Atlantic Ocean to the West Coast and everywhere in between. This Blues magazine has shared reviews, pictorials and interviews with readers around the world.
We have had the privilege of interviewing US artists such as: Johnny Winter, Curtis Salgado, New Riders of the Purple Sage, GE Smith. We have featured acoustic bluesmen, Chris Smither, Jorma Kaukonen, and David Bromberg. We have ventured across the pond to Europe and shared conversations with Kim Simmons, Robin Trower and Roger Earl. This Blues magazine has asked the questions that fans want to know. We have provided the answers in our interviews and review discussions.
As an online Blues magazine we focus on blues topics in our Features Section, where we have looked in depth at the life of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. We have provided exceptional coverage for the The King Biscuit Blues Festival. We have also featured up and coming artists that other press services would overlook.
We have had the pleasure of featuring blues artists from India, Great Britian, Canada, and Australia. We have shared the music and words from American artists in nearly all of the Blues subgenres. We have shared conversations with industry reps on our blues magazine pages. We are excited about what we have accomplished! This Blues Magazine reaches 115 countries and every state within the United States of America.
American Blues News is pleased to offer detailed feature stories and exceptional photography. Our journalists are genuine blues lovers who are “dedicated to the promotion and celebration of the Blues”and are: Monica Yasher, J.
